Beautiful Skin With These 3 Treatments

1. Microneedling
Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, microneedling is a minimally-invasive, advanced anti-aging treatment that gently penetrates the skin to stimulate the production of collagen to improve the texture and appearance of your complexion.

  • How Does It Work?
Using ultra fine needles, this treatment penetrates the skin to create micro injuries. As the skin begins the natural process of healing, collagen and elastin production is boosted and vibrant, glowing skin is revealed.
  • What Conditions Can It Treat?
    Microneedling is ideal for:
    • Improving the texture and appearance of acne scars
    • Minimizing enlarged pores
    • Improving the appearance of stretch marks
    • Decreasing or eliminating fine lines and wrinkles
    • Treating alopecia
  • Benefits Of Microneedling
    • Improves blood circulation
    • Encourages the production of collagen and elastin
    • Stimulates tissue regeneration
    • Requires little to no downtime
    • Is suitable for all skin types
    • Can be used on multiple areas of the face and scalp

2. IPL Photorejuvenation
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) photorejuvenation therapy is a non-invasive, age-defying treatment that uses multiple light wavelengths to penetrate beyond the first layer of skin to target damaged skin cells and improve texture and tone.

  • How Does It Work?
During an IPL treatment, high-intensity pulses of light are converted into heat. This light energy can focus on certain pigments in the second layer of your skin, destroying damaged and unwanted cells that are then expelled naturally by your body. You will use special goggles to protect your eyes and a cooling gel will minimize discomfort during treatment.
  • What Conditions Can It Treat?
    IPL Photorejuvenation is ideal for:
    • Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
    • Improving uneven skin tone
    • Shrinking enlarged pores
    • Minimizing the appearance of dark spots, age spots, and sun damage
    • Treating spider veins and visible blood vessels
    • Improving the appearance of acne scars
    • Relieving certain symptoms of rosacea
  • Benefits Of IPL Photorejuvenation
    • Quick, effective, and non-invasive
    • Little to no discomfort
    • Gradual, progressive, natural-looking improvements
    • Improved collagen production
    • Preserves the outer layer of your skin

3. Chemical Peels
With options for light, medium, and deep formulations, customized chemical peel treatments are designed to provide substantial exfoliation, removing dead and damaged skin cells and repairing, renewing, and rebuilding your skin for a bright, healthy, youthful complexion.

  • How Does It Work?
Your skin care specialist will apply a chemical solution to the treatment area. This solution will create a micro injury to the surface of your skin causing it to peel and encouraging the production of new cell growth and healthier skin. Some patients will feel a mild stinging depending on the strength of the solution, but your skin care specialist will do all they can to ensure your comfort.
  • What Conditions Can It Treat?
    Chemical Peels are ideal for:
    • Treating acne and improving the appearance of acne scars
    • Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
    • Improving uneven skin texture and pigmentation
    • Minimizing the appearance of dark spots, age spots, and liver spots
    • Improving sun-damaged skin
    • Treating rough and scaly skin
  • Benefits Of IPL Photorejuvenation
    • Minimally invasive
    • Dramatic results
    • Little downtime
    • Newer, healthier, smoother skin
    • Tightens and lifts skin

FAQ

Q: What can I expect after my microneedling treatment?
A: There are a few mild side effects associated with collagen induction therapy including irritation to the treatment area that may last from 24-48 hours. Most patients are able to enjoy visible results after the very first treatment but, depending on individual responses and the area being treated, 3-4 microneedling procedures, repeated every 4-6 weeks is the recommended approach to achieve optimum results.

Q: What can I expect after my chemical peel treatment?
A: Depending on the type of chemical peel used, a reaction similar to a sunburn may occur after the treatment. Peeling and redness are also common side effects but these gradually settle, leaving you with healthy, new and younger looking skin.

Q: What can I expect after my IPL photofacial treatment?
A: After your photofacial treatment, you may experience some redness and, occasionally, mild blistering and bruising of the treated area. This can last anywhere from a few hours to several days. Depending on the sensitivity of your skin and the severity of the problem being treated, the area might crust or flake. However, most of our patients are completely healed within one week.
