Radiesse FAQ

How does Radiesse work?

Radiesse is composed of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a gel that is injected into the treatment site quickly and painlessly. It is FDA-approved to mix with lidocaine, minimizing any discomfort. Injecting the gel beneath the skin is usually a very fast procedure which takes only 15 minutes though times can vary depending on the location and size of site.

Does Radiesse have any side effects?

The side-effects associated with Radiesse are temporary, minimal and typical of dermal fillers. These include:

Swelling
Tenderness
Bruising
Redness
Pain
Itching

These effects experienced around the treatment site will typically dissipate within a few days, leaving you with fresher, more rejuvenated skin.

Is Radiesse right for me?
